I have just heard from Ed McEneney and our prayers are needed for Cathie McEneney, Mike McEneney's Wife. Cathie was taken last night to the ER at St. John's Riverside Hospital, Yonkers, NY. This morning Cathie was in Surgery to remove a bloodclot from her leg. She is now in ICU. Please raise the volume for Cathie as we pray for a complete recovery, no further Surgery and a quick and complete recovery free of complication. This will be a collection of messages taught by Joe Capozzi who passed away in 2014. Joseph Charles Capozzi, 63, of Hanover, passed away on Saturday, July 12, at his home after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born in Manhattan to Joseph A. and Anna and raised in the Bronx, New York. Joe graduated from Mount St. Michaels Academy High School and received his Bachelors degree in business administration in 1973 from Manhattan College, the same year he married his loving wife Ellen. They lived in Hanover for the last twenty years.
Joe worked the majority of his life as a V.P. of Sales and Marketing for major banks on the East Coast but later in life found his true calling of preaching and teaching the Word of God. He most enjoyed the time he was able to fellowship with family and friends.
Joe is survived by his wife of forty years Ellen, his mother Anna, his sister Terri Keenan and his children Michael, David and his wife Jen, James and his wife Lauren and Timothy. He leaves three grandchildren, Annabelle, Oliver and Myles.
There was a memorial service to honor Joe's life and legacy on Saturday, July 19, at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Weymouth, 40 West St. in Weymouth. Joe requested that this be a service in which, first and foremost God be lifted high.

Thomas was a resident of New Jersey at the time of passing.
He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, then attended Manhattan College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.
He also served in the U.S. Army towards the end of World War II, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant.
A private family memorial gathering will be planned. Interment will be at Homewood Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, alongside the “love of his life", his wife Millie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association , an organization dedicated to battling dementia related conditions, at alz.org.

Stephanie Power, beloved partner, mother and daughter, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2019 in her home in Fairfield, CT after a long struggle with breast cancer. She was 51.
Stephanie will be remembered for showing us all what it truly means to be a loving family member and friend. She approached every day with optimism, energy and enthusiasm no matter what circumstances life brought. Stephanie's life was devoted to her two sons, Blake and Cameron, her best friend and partner, John Peteshel, and her other family members and many, many friends.
A thoughtful and genuine person, Stephanie always remembered to celebrate others' finest moments and was there for them during their most difficult times. She loved to bring people together from all parts of her life, and she planned and orchestrated countless celebrations for family and friends.
Stephanie loved to travel and she enjoyed planning trips that brought her family to all corners of the globe, though her favorite place was Disney World. No sooner had she returned from one adventure than Stephanie began planning the next outing for her family. Whether it was driving her yellow Mustang, ballroom dancing, taking flying lessons, swimming with dolphins, riding a motorcycle, trapeze lessons with her boys, or regular get-togethers with her close girlfriends, Stephanie lived life to its fullest and reveled in sharing those adventures.
Born and raised in Bronxville, NY, Stephanie moved to Fairfield 20 years ago to raise her family. She earned her bachelor's degree from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and her master's from Fairfield University. Stephanie was a licensed marriage and family therapist, and the founder and co-owner of Key Therapy, LLC in Monroe, CT. She started her career as an elementary school teacher, and her love of people, entrepreneurial spirit and boundless energy led her to many places. She became a concierge and sales executive at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City and later started several businesses—organizing children's birthday parties, Play Tots and a nursery school based at the Easton Community Center. She was an active volunteer at her sons' schools. The common thread in her work and life was a desire to help and bring joy to other people, especially children.
In addition to her partner, John, and sons, Blake Maquat (Manhattan College sophomore) and Cameron Maquat (Hopkins School senior), of Fairfield, Stephanie is survived by her loving parents, Conrad and Michele Power, of Bronxville; her siblings, Suzanne Power-Morris and Timothy Power, also of Bronxville; brother-in-law, John Morris; her adoring Godson and nephew Connor Morris and niece June Power; former husband, Robert Maquat, of Easton, CT; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by paternal grandparents Blake and Mary Power and maternal grandparents Michael and Gertrude Florkowski.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. in the Church of Saint Joseph, 15 Cedar Street, Bronxville, NY, with the interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Hawthorne, NY.

Stephanie was called home too soon on February 22, 2019 after a long struggle with Breast Cancer. He is survived by his wife Judith Wight Werben, his daughter Diana Mosher, and his grandsons Eric and Glen Mosher. There will be a Requiem Mass at St. Paul's Church, 84 Sherwood Avenue, Greenwich, CT,06831, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

DARTMOUTH — Bernard Feinerman, 89, of Dartmouth, MA, formerly of Fairhaven, MA, died at St. Luke’s Hospital on Wednesday Feb. 27, 2019. Bernard was born on Aug. 8, 1929, the son of Jack and Judith Feinerman. He married Diane Feinerman (nee Herman) on June 18, 1950.
He is survived by his sister, Frances Feinerman; his wife, Diane Feinerman; his children, Donna Feiner, Carl Feinerman, Alan Feinerman, Laura Feinerman and Ilana Feinerman; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.
Bernard Feinerman was born in Brooklyn, NY, and obtained a bachelor’s degree from New York Polytechnical Institute and later a master’s degree from Manhattan College; both degrees were in engineering. He worked on multiple emerging technologies from early wireless phones to heart monitors used in the operating room.
He died peacefully in his sleep. He had a powerful will and certainly fought to live well beyond his body’s life expectancy.
Funeral service will be held Tifereth Israel Synagogue, 145 Brownell Ave., New Bedford, on Friday March 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside service will take place at New Montefiore Cemetery, West Babylon, NY, on Sunday March 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

It’s been a long while — 30 years — since terrorists firebombed the little building on Broadway that housed The Riverdale Press. But from time to time, sometimes out of the blue, I’ll have a flashback to that night and get a lump in my throat, or a knot in my chest.
A report of some new atrocity at a school in Florida or a synagogue in Pittsburgh will bring me back to that night with a shudder.

Alfonso Magdaleno would love to reopen Celestino’s Pizza and Pasta in Paradise, which sustained damage but did not burn in the Camp Fire. A lack of potable water is holding him back.
“We do want to open up, but we want to make sure it’s done safely and properly,” he said by phone. “The town has already been through enough. We want to make sure we are in no way putting anyone in the public at more risk than they’ve already been.”
Magdaleno has been keeping a close eye on water updates from the Paradise Irrigation District (PID). One thing that worries him is that the warnings keep changing—first, there was a boil-only advisory, then benzene contamination was found so people were told not to drink the water at all. On Monday (Feb. 25), a new set of guidelines was released warning homeowners not to rely on filtration systems, that continued testing is necessary.

The PID’s latest guidelines were released online after its board meeting last week, during which Whelton’s team, which includes engineers from Purdue and Manhattan College, presented its findings after studying the situation for the past month. They have extensive experience with widespread water contamination issues, like chemical spills, though none that mirrors what Paradise is dealing with. One thing that worries Whelton most is a lack of information being given to residents.
“People are just being left to fend for themselves,” he said.
While Whelton and his team are no longer contracted with PID, he said they are still very much invested in helping. They field phone calls from PID personnel and have offered advice via social media.
“People need help in their homes, where they live. We are trying to help them by gathering information from them,” he said. That information includes how people are testing, who is doing the testing, what they’re testing for and how often—plus the results of those tests.
Adequate testing is complex.

Richmond, VA - Robert (Bob) Francis Moloney passed away peacefully in his home in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday, February 23rd after a long illness.
Bob was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY in 1933. He attended St. Anselm parochial school in Brooklyn, high school at LaSalle Academy in New York City and graduated from Niagara University in 1955 cum laude with a degree in BBA Accounting. Bob was also awarded an Associate Degree in Systems and Data processing from NYU in 1966 and an MBA in International Finance from Manhattan College in 1985.
After graduation from college, Bob entered to US Army as a Second Lieutenant, took his basic training at Fort Bragg, NC, artillery and survey school at Fort Sill, OK and then served 18 months in Germany and 6 months at Fort Carlson, CO. He was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant, and Headquarters battery Executive Office of the 775 Field Artillery known as St. Barbara's Best.
He is survived by his wife, Ann, four children, Robyn, Tracy, Kerri and Kristen. He also has 5 grandchildren.
During his long career, Bob travelled extensively throughout the world. He was an avid skier and during his trips managed to ski where ever possible.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 3rd from 4-7pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 4th at 10am at St. Luke's R.C. Church, 340 N. Franklin Tpke., Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ 07423. Interment to follow at St. Luke's Cemetery.

Robert William Soré passed away February 25, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Soré, and son, Alister Soré. He is preceded in death by his son, Sinclair Soré.
Robert was born in Bronx, N.Y., in 1957 to the late Ann and Edward Soré. Robert attended Manhattan College and earned a bachelor’s degree as a mechanical engineer. He worked as a product manager in marketing for Siemens and also had a long career with Mitsubishi Electric.
Robert was a consummate businessman; he loved meeting new people and traveling to different countries on business. But more than that, he was a wonderful, loving, nurturing, family man. He enjoyed home improvement projects, new cars, model trains, and golfing with his son, Alister.
Robert was an accomplished golfer and was able to play the finest and most historic golf courses in the world. He and his wife, Cynthia, were married in 1990 on the 18th hole lawn of Pebble Beach. Robert and Cynthia raised The Sensational Soré Twins, Alister and Sinclair, and lived in Long Grove, Ill.; Newtown; and had relocated to Johns Creek, Ga., in 2013.
Robert leaves behind his brothers, Edward, John, and Gerard Soré; his sisters, Linda Cebel and Marianne Fox; his step sisters, Fran Silverman and Marian Barth; his sister-in-law, Carole Meehan; along with many other family members and treasured friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 1, 2019, at 6 pm, and a memorial service will follow at 7 pm in the McDonald and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Cumming, Ga.
In addition to flowers, the family is accepting donations in honor of Robert to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Gamma Theta Phi (ΓΘΦ) was a fraternity founded in 1964, primarily at Catholic colleges. Unlike traditional fraternities, Gamma was organized by the student services departments at each school since several colleges did not want national fraternities coming on their campus. Since Gamma was, in essence, an outreach of student services, the colleges hoped to harness the positives of the fraternities (service, charitable projects & camaraderie), and avoid the negative stereotypes which plague many fraternities.
The project didn't succeed. By 1967 all national work regarding Gamma had halted. Several of the local chapters continued at their respective colleges for a few years, but by 1997, all the chapters had dissolved.
