POSITRACTION: Man pays for college tuition for entire class — again!

Banker Picks Up College Tuition for School’s Entire Graduating Class… Again
By Good News Network-Sep 6, 2018

*** begin quote ***

A successful businessman has offered to pay for an entire graduating high school class… again.

With 35 branches of his bank operating across Wisconsin and Minnesota, Dennis Frandsen is a self-made financial success – and he wants to share that success the youth of his community.

Frandsen will be paying for at least 2 years of technical college for all 34 prospective high school graduates who have finished at Luck Public Schools in Wisconsin.

*** end quote ***

Must be nice to be in a position to be able to do something like this.

Very impressive act of charity.

Gives everyone a chance to make their way.

Good Morning All,

An update on Barbara McEneney, who has been in our prayers. Barbara, Ed McEneney's Wife, went home on Sunday, September 9, 2018, after a 13 day stay in Hospital. Barbara will still need the Intravenous Antibiotics while at home and Ed is becoming quite proficient in administering them. Barbara is still suffering from pain. We pray that the continued medications have the desired result.
Please keep the volume up for Barbara as we pray that she finally find relief. Please keep Ed in your prayers as well. Thank you Mike McEneney for sharing the update. Thank you all. God Bless.

PRAYERSREQUESTED: Colon, Philip J. (MC1962) prays for Ed

Good Evening All,

I ask for your prayers for a good friend to many of us, a member of our Retreat Team and Fellow Jasper, Ed Riely. Ed has just come home from Hospital after a six day stay and his second hospitalization in seven weeks. The previous stat was for 4 days. Both related to infections and wounds on his right toes and foot up to his ankle. The MDs would seem to have gotten the right antibiotic after opening up and cleaning the bones of infection in surgery Friday night. Ed has a tube from his arm to his heart through a vein in his left arm. He has to carry around a pressurized " Baseball " that dispenses the new antibiotic 24 hours a day for six weeks. It is not a pleasant experience but sure is better than the alternative. Please keep the volume up for Ed for a speedy recovery and that the antibiitic does its' job and causes no adverse effects. We keep Ed's Wife Pat in our prayers as well. Ed, we will miss you at the Retreat this weekend and will keep you in our prayers. Thank you. God Bless.

ENDNOTE: Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigaṇ's letter indicts and convicts Pope Francis

BONUS Ep. 1231 The Crisis in the Catholic Church
1st September 2018 — Tom Woods

*** begin quote ***

With the abuse crisis exploding in recent weeks, culminating in the atomic bomb of a letter released by Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigaṇ, I decided it was time for another bonus episode. My guests are Roger McCaffrey, president of Roman Catholic Books and founding publisher of The Latin Mass magazine, and Steve Skojec, publisher of the OnePeterFive blog.

*** end quote ***

The Archbishop’s letter is IMHO the death knell of the “Organizational Church”.

Read it for yourself.

As was said during the podcast, this scandal is a multigenerational disaster.

Referring to oneself as “Catholic” implies that enormity of the situation can be in someway minimized.
