POSITRACTION: The reason Holy Mother Church is running out of priests

Irish church fast running out of priests as vocation crisis worsens
Niall O'Dowd  @niallodowd April 19, 2017 04:39 AM

*** begin quote ***

WANTED: Clean-living young men for a long career. Women need not apply. Responsibilities: spiritual guidance, visiting the sick, public relations, marriages (own marriage not permitted).

Hours: on call 24/7.

Salary: basic stipend only.

Such was the way Time magazine a few years back illustrated how the Catholic Church in Ireland needed to regenerate itself. The ads went pretty much unanswered.

At the time Archbishop Diarmuid Martin of Dublin said, “If more young priests aren't found quickly, Ireland's parishes may not have enough clergy to survive.”

According to a 2007 study, about half of all priests in the Republic of Ireland and in Northern Ireland were aged between 55 and 74. Ten years later they are overwhelmingly over 65, with many ministering into their eighties.

There are approximately 100 young men studying for the priesthood in Ireland, down from 600 just a few decades ago. The crisis is indeed mounting.

There is more bad news for the Church this week with vocations in one diocese at zero, and more confirmation of a quickly aging population of priests among those currently working in the parishes.

*** end quote ***

I can’t say as I am surprised.

“Popular culture” has been captured by the “Secular Progressives”. The institutional Church has lost its moral authority. And, what’s probably the worst, the clergy has bought into “social justice”, Gooferment welfare, and “everybody is a victim of the rich”.

I’m not sure how this ends, but like most things I think it just silently fades away.

When the Church becomes ideologically aligned with “the King”, it has no real purpose. The Church was always the counterbalance to “the King” and prevented worship of the State aka Gooferment.

Now, we can just watch the “Death Spiral”.

I still maintain that the Church in America’s “death kneel” was when it didn’t fight Gooferment Skrules. That put the Catholic parents in the unenviable position of paying heavy taxes to teach their children “Secular Progressive” dogma. All was lost at that point. The rest is just history.

"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? . . ." --- Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Same to when the State took the Catholic youth and brainwashed them. All with the blessings of  the American Catholic bishops, educators, and intellectuals.

We can only pray for a “reformation” and, if it’s to happen at all, it begins with the laity’s children.

Railroad buff Louis Judice of Bethlehem Township, NJ, will speak on Railroading in Hunterdon County on Monday, April 24, in High Bridge.

Louis has held a life-long interest in railroading and model railroads. Fascinated by the rise and fall of the many railroad lines, large and small, which have criss-crossed the Hunterdon County area - some only on paper, but many built - he has delved into this tangled history and will be sharing what he has discovered.  His historical view will go back to the early railroads in the Hunterdon County area including the High Bridge Branch.  He will discuss what brought railways here, how they fared and why some have survived while others have faded away.

His heart of gold and dear soul will be missed beyond words.

PRAYERSREQUESTED: Colon, Philip J. (MC1962) prays for Stephen

2017-Apr-28

Good Morning All,

It is with a heavy heart that I ask for your prayers For Delaware State Trooper, Cpl. 1, Stephen Ballard. Cpl Ballard was shot and killed in broad daylight this past Wednesday at a WAWA food Mart in Bear, Delaware when, while on duty, he approached two men in the WAWA parking lot. Cpl. Ballard approached them in the vehicle they were in because of suspicious behavior.

I did not know Trooper Ballard but my Neighbor and Fellow State Trooper knew Cpl. Ballard and his Family well. He speaks with great respect, admiration and feeling for his friend, married, a Father with one child, a truly good man who was known by his beautiful smile, his respect toward everyone, his love of his job and pride in serving. The entire Police Force share the pain with Trooper Ballard's Family, their loss and the senseless murder of their loved one.

Please raise the volume for Cpl. Ballard, his Family and friends during this horrible time. The world is a darker place becauseof this man's death. Thank you. God Bless.

ENDNOTE: Kardashian disrespects Christians

SCANDAL
Kim Kardashian sparks backlash over release of new Virgin Mary kimoji
et-online Published April 22, 2017

2017 04Apr 22 Kim oji

*** begin quote ***

While many of Kardashian West's kimojis exist solely on her messaging app, the "Kim candle" is available in real, tangible, candle form -- and will ship in one week for the price of $18.

Though the mother of two touted her candle on social media, some of her fans weren't so receptive to her new merchandise, calling the candle sacrilegious, distasteful, disrespectful of Christian culture and appropriating the veladoras of Latinx culture.

*** end quote ***

Ever notice that the Hollywood celebrities NEVER insult Islam.

Now I know that not everyone agrees that there is a war by the “Secular Progressives” on Judeo-Christian values, but I think there is.

The now disgraced Bill O’Reilly and the much maligned “borders, language, and culture” Michael Savage always asserted that there is “war” going on.

I’m not sure how anyone can say there isn’t that war going on and, for the most part, the “values” side has lost.

Argh!

I can point to many things that have led to the downfall, but the primary one is Gooferment Skrules. When we let the Gooferment propagandize future voters, all is lost.

Remember the TRUE purpose of Gooferment Skrules, who adopted the Prussian system of eddykation, was to: cannon fodder for the Army, willing morons for the factories, and useful idiots to vote for and be led by the elite!

Nothing has changed!
