[JR: Six minute video that is “unbelievable”. I can imagine all of the people that could benefit. If humans would stop wasting attention, time, and resources, then we could focus on the great stuff. Notice this is an Israeli corporation. Not the Gooferment and they are under a death threat from their neighbors. Wow, humans are so stupid.  ]

[JR: Jasper Stebbins forwarded, without comment or explanation, a long NY Times article about BHO44 and his activities involving the Catholic Church. Interesting that it’s a puff piece, but, when I read it, I saw him as an opportunist. Maybe if they had published this BEFORE he was elected, or any serious investigation of his candidacy, the Sheeple would have asked more questions. I still don’t know where he was born, what the circumstances of his SSN, and why is his Colombia admission papers hidden? Did he claim to be a foreign citizen to get in and at a reduced rate? Why is it hidden? All this article does is raise old and new questions for me.]

John,

For anyone heading from Jasperland to the uptown Port Authority at 178th Street, the 168th Street transfer between the A and the 1 was essential -- or at least helpful. I did that regularly -- toting my laundry -- to get the No. 20 Red & Tan Line bus to Pearl River in Rockland County; that bus dropped me right at the end of my block.

2014-Mar-25

Good Evening All,

I spoke with Jim Smith today and am happy to report that Jim is doing much better. We shared a couple of Laughs and although still undergoing treatment, Jim is not undergoing the extensive and sometimes invasive treatment that he has been experiencing until very recently. His Blood infection was at a dangerous level and the MDs still do not know what caused it but it was extreme. He is meeting with the Infectious Disease Mds this Tuesday to evaluate and update Jim's recovery. So, overall, the update is positive. Jim sends his heartfelt thanks to all of you for your prayers, thoughtfulness and good wishes. A prayer of thanks is in order. As Jim says, " Prayer Works." Thank you. God Bless.

Sport
The day Trevor Munroe gazed at cheering beauties
...And in a flash, his chance of winning gold at Champs was gone
BY HOWARD WALKER Observer senior reporter walkerh@jamaicaobserver.com
Tuesday, March 25, 2014

*** begin quote ***

Louis Knight, who became the first to win the Class One 120 yards hurdles three times, was the first cousin of Trevor Munroe. In 1953, Louis Knight set the 220 yards record of 21.8 seconds which stood for 15 years, until one Donald Quarrie of Camperdown High broke it in 1968.

His cousin, now Dr Louis Knight, a dental surgeon, was Munroe's role model and source of motivation.

"As a role model, he had a great impact on me, because he was a champion athlete, but also outstanding in his academics and won a track scholarship to Manhattan College in the US, and thereafter became a dental surgeon," Munroe said.

"If I didn't have that kind of person in the family who was doing all of that stuff, I don't think I would have been motivated to do so many years on the track at St George's College," added the political scientist and labour activist.

ENDNOTE: Today's “underprivileged” children

2014-Mar-29

http://sftimes.co/?id=216&src=share_fb_new_216

From my fellow Prepster Jack MacMillan

It’s a two and change video that points out an essential difference between kids today and us.

I’d call today’s children “underprivileged”.

They don’t learn to get over stuff. And, they are drugged up. Also, catatonic.

Over indulged is our failure.

imho
